BettaWalka LLC was started in November 2007 by veteran technologist Chris Hall and web technology expert Navil Charles with the purpose of applying mobile communications to the problem of managing Dog Walking businesses. Together they have created a sophisticated set of Database, Scheduling, Billing, Text Messaging, iPhone technologies that form the backbone of BettaWalka Pro, the most advanced Business Management Software available for the Dog Walking and Pet Sitting industry.
BettaWalka Pro is an internet based application, lifting the burden of maintaining and backing up a reliable business computer from its users. As an additional benefit BettaWalka Pro offers access not just to the company owners, but directly to their employees and customers.
BettaWalka Pro uniquely offers Dog Walkers the ability to manage their business from their iPhone or Blackberry smartphones, while employees who do not have access to a smartphone can use an ordinary cellphone with text messaging capability to report on their daily activities, and to get the information they need to perform their duties.
In addition, BettaWalka Pro employs custom built database and javascript technology to provide its users with easy access to the information that they need, when they need it.
BettaWalka LLC is a privately held company headquartered in Boston.

Navil Charles is the co-founder of BettaWalka LLC. Navil is responsible for the custom javascript driving many of the innovative features of BettaWalka Pro, including the iPhone application.
Prior to working at BettaWalka LLC, Navil was an Engineer at Seaweed Systems Inc., a leader in the developement of Safety-Critical software for the Aerospace and Defence industries. While at Seaweed Systems, Navil was responsible for writing novel configuration management tools to support the rigorous Software Development methodologies required to comply to DO-178B, Level A.
Navil is a an expert in Java and Javascript programming and recieved his Bachelors Degree in Computer Science at Tufts University.
